A comparative analysis of the shows:  The School for Lies and Twelfth Night

Current paper provides comparative analysis based on critical observations of the observer for the two shows, “The School for Lies” and “Twelfth Night”.Paper sheds light on various aspects of both shows and critically analyzes audience, script, actors, venues, directors, designers and producers. Detailed analysis is given below.

Audience

Audience for the both shows“Twelfth Night” and “The school for lies” was amazing. They fully participated with actors during the show and intermingled with them. Audience was applauded the performance of the actors with open hearted throughout the show. However, lack of understanding the text used in Shakespeare’s play at “Twelfth Night”, bit distracted the audience. However, overall audience showed great interest and admiration towards both shows and the performers.

Script

Story for the show“Twelfth Night” was quiet interesting despite lack of interest from the audience. I really enjoyed the story line and wonder why people were leaving the show. Reason behind was the use of Shakespeare’s philosophical approaches which were difficult for people to understand.  It was better to provide synopsis for the show so that majority of the people could understand the basic idea of the play.  Story was well written however, audience faced difficulties to understand the text utilized in the show.

Apart from that, comedy and attraction enriched the show with joy. Directors very well brought cryptic language within the realm of the storyline. Moreover, Anachronism of the production was considered with realism and did not distract from the story line.
