Sports have evolved as human civilization has evolved; therefore, we can say that sports, in a unique way represent cultures and also provide valuable information about the progress of particular culture. When we study sports as a subject, it becomes apparent to us that only handful of sports are global and have greater reach. This does not undermine local sports, which represent local cultures, but actually this actually depicts that few sports are universally loved and accepted. This demonstrates that humans, living in different parts of the world and belonging to different cultures, have much in common. This common bond, preference or love for certain activity or play, makes us a large family, which can come together to for common goals and concerns.  This is also contradicts an intellectual notions, which claims that human societies are utterly different, with different preferences and attitudes, which cannot agree on different matters (News.adidas.com, 2015).

As mentioned earlier that there are many sports, which are global and they have penetrated different cultures. One of such example is cricket, which was an absolutely English sport; however, it was adopted by colonial states, such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia and others.

Soccer, by every definition, is considered a true global sport, which is played all around the world and it is followed passionately, by billions. The game of soccer is high power game, limited by time and regulated by soccer laws. In this 90 minutes game, twenty-two players, eleven on each side, in a certain formation, play with strategy and power, to score a goal. The thrill and excitement, created by the skills, talent and attempts, of players, entertain the audience.

Stats reveal that soccer is the most loved and followed game and because of this it aids soccer to attract huge brands, investors and advertisements. Large corporations and individual investors frequently buy football clubs to swell their revenues. For instance, an English Club Manchester City was bought by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, owner of the Abu Dhabi United Group, who was able to restructure the club, with immense capital-investment, and made it top English Club. There are many such examples, which depict that soccer is not just a game, played globally, but also it is a corporate game, where players charge in millions and investors in invest in billions (BORDEN, 2014).

Because of such high pays, transfer fees, corporate and structural investments, soccer demands high performance from soccer players and superior strategies from managers. This demand or necessity amalgamates science/technology with sports. Today science is used to understand body structure, abilities, strength and weakness of players. By precisely evaluating players and by sorting them in types, science has made it simple for the managers to devise best formation and use every player to its potential. Technology, on the other hand, has augmented ability of players and aided them to enhance their performance, during a match. In a competition, a better analysis and better equipment, defined by technology, does serious contribution. Therefore, we see that players wear highly evolved garments and footwear (Mughal, 2014).

For a soccer player, footwear is the instrument, with which it sketches its picture. It is the tool, with which it creates and it helps him to realize his goals. The significance, of soccer shoe, has attracted many companies, to invest science and capital in the creation of ultimate soccer shoe, which should be the preference, of every soccer player. Science and technology are exploited to understand and authenticate, which soccer shoe is a perfect design (Mughal, 2014).

For the promulgation, of these perfect shoes, companies use soccer celebrities to increase their sales and revenues. For instance, companies use players, such as Messi, Figo, Chritiano Ronaldo to boost their sales and to swell their revenues. These players play in competitions, while wearing these scientifically designed shoes and help companies in their sales and marketing (Stock, 2014).

Adidas, a company, which makes sports products, is exploiting Messi, one of the top players in world of football, to sell its highly evolved product, messi15.1 Firm/Artificial Ground Cleats.  This sports foot wear has a unique strength and it helps the player to have strong grip. A strong surface grip is required for a player, who dribbles with high speed and who uses expertise and skills and fox opponents. It is a fact that soccer players have to play different conditions and sometime conditions are very adverse (Ricadela, 2015).

In Europe, where conditions could become stern, on the playing day, because of rain or snow, highly designed soccer footwear, such as messi15.1 Firm/Artificial Ground Cleats, are highly useful. This footwear, which designed by understanding demands and by exploiting existing scientific knowledge, provides strong grip even on wet and slippery surfaces, on which keeping balance and grip is difficult, especially when a player positions himself to play a shot or when player is dribbling. For this purpose, messiTOUCH X-ray surface with lethal grip technology has been used. It is state of the art technology, which is the result of perpetual evolution of sports-science (Cruz, 2015).

A foot wear must not only be highly evolved, but also comfortable. Shoemakers, since the beginning of this craft, have focused primarily on designing such footwear, which would be extremely comfortable. Till this day, this remains the prime objective of any footwear corporation or company, whether it designs sports or other fashion footwear. While creating this footwear, Adidas has primarily focused on this aspect.
