Best US Presidential Campaigns (2008)

In the year 2008, there were two candidates for the president ship of United States. The two candidates for the presidential elections of 2008 were known personalities in United States of America i.e. John McCain and Barak Obama. While considering their presidential campaigns one must consider certain factors in between the two campaigns in terms of who is being more effective and positive one. Barak Obama’s campaign was more focused on this aspect that the president is the driving force for United States economy whereas McCain’s campaign focuses on the work and values on which the worker class could easily rely. The presidential ad campaigns of McCain were notably very aggressive and sharper than the previous campaigns.

The most important thing in Barak Obama campaign was attachment of President Bush with the John McCain campaign. The ad campaigns of McCain got low approval ratings due to association with the former president. The linking of McCain with the former president, Bush undercut the image of being an independent candidate by him. The Barak’s campaign was also very effective because he was the first African-American presidential candidate in 2008 ad campaign. In those times, the country was hit hard by the economic crunch and mortgage/credit crisis overshadowing the economy. The campaign of John McCain was mainly focusing Barak Obama by presenting him as liberal democrat who favors increase in taxes and cannot lead the nation with front.
