Short term Issue

  • Organizational Behaviour: Organizational behaviour is an issue that is long term and short term as well. The issue is associated with the action they took as it was not befitting with their position and through this action they created misunderstanding and confusion in the organization by getting advantage of organizational structure. They manipulated their position and power by violating the organizational behaviour and create challenges in the organization and operational activities.
  • Communication Management: Communication management is short term issue within the organization. There was no way for the employees to communicate with the upper management. However, the chairman recognized that because of the communication management and due to the communication gap, he was not notified about the selfish and greediness of the executives and this situation resulted in the cycle of blame. The action taken by the executives created conflict within the organizations that created challenges for the organizational working performance.

Long Term Issues

  • Organizational Structure: This case highlighted the issue in the organizational structure in which the people with power enjoys and manipulate their position and the communication gap gives them a hand to manipulate their power such as the two executives Rao and Naik did not let the chairman to point out their unjust actions. Moreover, the case reflects the issue of poor accountability system within the organization that in short term could create conflicts within the organizations and in long term it could be resulted as the organization could have to lose its key employees. In long term, such organizational structure left direct impact on the organizational performance.
