Deming’s 14 points help organizations to improve their productivity and quality of different products and services.  This is a kind of management practice, which is considered as concept, and widely implemented by management in various organizations. Walmart is world’s largest retail chain business, and very prominent regarding its quality and productivity. According to my observations, Walmart is implementing two points of Deming’s 14 points to retain and improve quality and productivity.

Retail business is competitive, and management of Walmart intends to be innovative and creative in long term planning. Management of Walmart has good sales experience, as they identify customer’s needs and requirements in future. Wal-Mart’s management negotiates with different companies to let them produce accordingly, and place those products in stores. Apart of this, Walmart also plans to make better production to retain quality. This company hires skillful people in its production department to have efficient process. Walmart have reasonable cost of production, cost of goods sold, which make its product, and services cheaper than other competitors do. Customers are loyal and satisfy with quality and pricing, and they conduct repetitive sales. Purpose of Walmart is to make customers loyal and satisfied in market with an ongoing process of constancy.
