The development of a village

The studies and researches clearly depict that modernization of industry and agriculture is imperative for the economic and social progress. It was the industrial revolution of 18th century, which ended feudal system of Europe and became the very foundation of today’s post-modern era. It was the change in tool of implementation, which facilitated the evolution in particular direction. For any system to develop, it is essential to develop or adopt technology.  Industrialization and the revolutionizing of agriculture, through technology, are imperative. Without uninterrupted power supply, neither we can industrialize an economy, nor can we revolutionize agriculture with technology.

The first priority is to provide villagers safe drinking water, as per stats of United Nations, around 1.6 million people die, around the world, due to consumption of contaminated water. Nanotechnology can be used to provide safe drinking water.  Nanotechnology is being used to kill microbes, which contaminates water. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has developed nanotechnology filters, which kill microbes, such as bacteria and even virus. For just $2.50, we can provide safe water for whole family, for a complete year.  If we do calculations, we would be able to provide whole village, safe drinking water, for just $ 6250 per year.  For distribution 5 points would identified, from where filters would be distributed. For 5 distribution points, 10 people are required, one to distribute and one to register.
