At the end of the book, Swift no more narrates abnormal events, but rather discusses very serious events, which highly plausible on high sea. In the beginning and at the end of the story, ocean voyage has been narrated with fair modesty and no extra-ordinary events have been discussed. Therefore, we can say that in the end of the book, story becomes more realistic.

It is evident from the events and characters of the story that Gulliver is not a reliable narrator. He has narrated about the world, which has only existed in wildest of imaginations. For instance, very little people, who are stupid enough to wage wars on petty issue, such as how egg should be broken. In addition, highly intelligent species of horses, Houyhnhnms, has been mentioned, which think and act like beings with divine wisdom.
