Overview of the objectives for unit plan

  1. Students will able to read and understand essential and necessary literature for the unit
  2. The selected technology will allow students to make clear understanding of the topic
  3. The online use of sources provide the large pool of the information and data
  4. Students can create accounts on different sites like Vimeo, YouTube, pages on facebook and Diigo account to understand the use of the different tools of technology for learning
  5. Students become enables to corporate and share their posts and blogs to answers the questions
  6. Students can remarks by using different types of accounts on important topics and stories
  7. At the end, students fully understand the theme, purpose and meanings of the story and increases their website creation capabilities & skills

Technology that I would like to use in my design:

YouTube.com: My first priority is Youtube.com to share and post videos to specific chapters/sections

Drop Box: drop box will use to save the data and documents for the students. Link will share via email so that they can easily access to the assignments, notes and other lectures. This will also provide the easy access to the students.

Blogs: blogs will use for the demonstration of different projects, workshops and lectures

Class Wiki: All type of information and data about the course will be discussion in groups

Browser Linked: Other relevant material and videos links share with students for their better understanding and approach to literature and large material

Black Board:  This will increase the experience of education for the students and help to get the answers that requires for success.

Other includes the lectures videos, discussion board, Group wiki and discussion board.

ACTIONS

According to ACTIONS Model in cannot use all of the technologies listed above. However, all the sites are free of cost and students can get the free access to the use of the computers and internet. The presentational requirements of the subject include the assignments on the topic. The learners have to create a text book, reading journal and select two articles form professional journals. Then they write two to three page summary of each article. The topics will also going to represent in this course. For the distance learning students or the learner, they can upload their presentations on the accounts given to them. Moreover, video conferencing and Skype can also use to take the interviews, viva and presentation from the students.

Discussion Broad will includes the group and individuals. This will give insight and strategic planning for the learners about child education and learning. Moreover, the use of the case study make able the learners the practical understanding of the course or subject. In addition, the other sources of technology can also use for better communication. This will also helps the students a number of experience. Moreover, the nature and type of the lectures or the topics can determine the use of the technology. Personally, I want to suggest students to use multiple and diverse technologies. Moreover, the access of the technology is also a matter of discussion.

Design Component: Web Based Module

Koln’s experiential learning style theory: According to this theory there are four distinct learning styles based on the four stages. Different people have different style of learning. On the other hand, different types of the factors influence the learning ability of the person. Therefore, one technique and method cannot be accurate for all types of the persons. For example, educational experiences, cognitive ability of and individual and social environment affect a person. All these factors affect the learning process of a person. In some countries yet the concept of parent training or distinct learning has not developed. Moreover, people are less familiar with uses of technology for educational purposes.

Authoring Tools: I use Black board for my assignments and discussion among the students for different topics. For the students who are new to Black Board, I will provide, screen short, videos or the power point slides as tutorial with explanation for their understanding. The reason to choose black board is that it is simple blog to use does not take much time.

Web Based Documents: The use of the web based documents at the initial stage is not necessary. However, later on according to situation and conditions, the web based documents can also use for the learning of the students. Moreover, mostly the MS Word can use for the drafting of the documents as per need and requirement of the assignment or the lecturers.

Design for Learner Participation: The interaction and participation of the students and the learners is necessary for the plan study. The use of the blogs is not only to answers the questions but this also allows the students to read the responses from other students. This will help them to give the answer by following them. This is necessary to develop the interaction between the students. The big projects require a team to work on it. Therefore, the interaction and participation of the students is very essential and crucial for them. By doing so, they become enable to enhance their learning skills and team player capabilities.

Integrated Learning System: The browsers links and Black Board will use to post data and information about the class and scheduled of the class activities. The detail lesson plan and course also post on Blackboard so that everyone can easy access to the information and prepare themselves for upcoming sessions and lectures. In addition to this, I will make weekly sessions that includes the detail lesson plan about the participation of the students to the blog. Moreover, after the running of the session, amendments are acceptable according to need and demand of students. The purpose is the study and learning of the student so change is acceptable.
