            Findings             Term paper explores comparative study of production sharing across the globe by Japanese automakers.  Such sharing comes to realization with collaboration of US interlocking relationships Japanese automakers and spare parts suppliers. Such network is known as Keiretsu network. Findings of the paper reveal that modality and extent of production sharing is considerably different from European counterpart and US. Japanese automakers think that overseas production from subsidiary plants is comparatively less important with respect to export from homeland.
