He introduced me with course name organizational change and development. After week one, I have familiarized with the concept of organizational change. I have learned that globalization is providing organizations new opportunities to succeed. It is also providing challenges to existing organizations due to diversified markets and workforce. Managers and leaders are working to more innovative and creative strategic change to their organizations.

I learned that there is crucial need for every organization to employ changes for success. One of important things I have learned that organizational change should be followed by improvement in performance. Organizational change can be performed in different ways. I have learned that an organization can facilitate change through structure change, change in technologies, organizational structure, organizational methods, etc. I have learned importance of organizational development in this global environment. I have learned that it focused on managing change to increase effectiveness of organization.

I have learned importance of organizational development for sustainable development. Organization can adopt from different change elements to increase its effectiveness. I have learned that it would be difficult for any organization to succeed without implementing effectively organizational change and development strategies. I have also learned from video of Jerry Porras that what strategies organizations used to succeed in their long lasting existence. I have also learned that identification of change areas should be carefully indicated. Organizations should not their core values in managing change.

I have learned that organizational development is process of change in culture of organization through adopting technology of behavioral science
