On the other hand, employees at the same level are paid unequally. Usually the employee argues on it. However, the companies do not pay attention and ask them to leave. Few who know their right claim through courts others have to stay with company to meet his family expenses and some of them move to others companies. However, those companies who know the importance of their employee empower them to ask for their right and avoid such discrimination. If you were the director, how would you handle Fred? If I were the Director of Scientific Computing then I choose to compensate the Fred by performance-based allowances. Therefore, he stay satisfied from his job and the second step that I would take is to restrict all employees to share their compensation information with colleagues, so, such incidents do not occur in future. Hence, there is still chance for such mishaps to avoid them I would add a new regulation in contract of employees for not revealing their compensation. It will help the organization to have legal protection against such petition filed by the employees to raise the salary as someone other is being highly paid.
