Threats The strategy is having two main threats to the company and these two threats are prevailing in the Asian market. The market threat is horizontal in nature at all levels because lateral competition is very daunting in nature and can be a real threat for the operations of Samsung in this market. Now the entire interest of the company is shifting towards the developing a Premium Brand. At the initial basis, the branding was not so important in Samsung culture and leadership selected for the low cost products so that Samsung could get maximum profit highly related with the objective of the company. After the Asian crises, Samsung shifted itself with the Premium branding and left the low cost srtrategy8 for the business. The inventory is lots of at the company premises and that strategy is going to meet the requirement. The Speeding Up new product development is the method also seem alluring in contemporary times. Recommendation for the Improvement in Contemporary Situation The recommended course of action at Samsung level could be based upon more introspection and through reform way. The Visionary leadership selected for the procedures and the rules necessary to take the action after the Asian crises but there form way can be better in this situation. The strategy of competition and by showing low cost of product was not good one for the company because competitors were too far from the brand image of Samsung in market and in customer minds as well. The Company is going to take the best strategy but the influential strategy at that time could be benefited for the company in such situation. The hardware and software issues resolution and the pricing strategy should be adopted at organization level so that status conscious customer who liked mobile more than non-conscious could buy Samsung. The process design similar with the Apple is good but the creativeness of South Korean in American Brand could be a revamped thinking and cause for the product success at broad basis.
