How did Tata Motors address the quality issue while developing its budget car? The inexpensive thing is more important in designing but quality seems undermine. The company cannot compromise to both things. The one end save price tag that was given by company and the other thing is quality measurements. Therefore, car started its own research and development process from scratch and assumed design and other factors associated (Malhotra, Kleiner, & Geller, 2010). The scratch level study of design and measurements made it happened to provide car to middle class and families as they thought. The Gandhian Approach (Malhotra, Kleiner, & Geller, 2010) was best one and use local knowledge bank to get practical design as car wants to adopt. The scratch level design with Gandian Approach to Research and development tends design to achieve how it can achieve for which it is made for. Low cost model with same tag price $2,500 was not so easy in major aspect because engineering and partners collaboration are most important in launch. Global automobile industry is now believes in global mergers and most of these mergers and acquisition is happening in countries like china and India. Specifically, India itself a market with its own customers with one mindset only cost reduced model. Car is dream comes true for middle class and automobile industry in India is exploiting this need of customers. The new trend is being made by launch of Nano because the care with all positives for locals. Even now, it tends globe to endorse mindset of Nano in car industry (Zack, 2015). The industry is facing too much competitors and only way to get competitive advantage is to adopt innovative design with local consideration as soon as possible. Now Asian countries are becoming center of Auto industry because it is still not a saturated market as for as auto vehicle concerns. The trade trends, ownerships structure and government roles in raising this auto industry in India are all positives for future conquer of industry adequately. The low budget cars and its mindset as set by India can see Brazil and China in emerging countries. These both countries are actually view economy in same way as India. The suggested emerging market are actually has much customers in same preference as India has. The case evaluates and recorded optimistic view of customers that they did not like fancy features. A fancy feature with adequate sleek design is only approach that is recommended for customers existing in emerging markets. Partially, it is true that China and Brazil both have same customers with almost same preferences.
