In the last few days, the women who were once the subject of cruelty in man dominant society throughout the world, have succeed to gain their rights in the society and become an equally important part of the society alongside the men. On the other hand, the enhancement of advance technology and increasing awareness among the people has given a great room to women and they become a prominent part of the society.

What are the factors that are the catalyst for the change? 

One of the major reasons is that most of the woman takes buying decision. In this aspect, it is recognized by a marketing analyst Sarah Todd who has described in an article “Why marketing to women is getting smarter” that “Women influence 80 percent of buying decisions.”(Todd, 2015). In another research it is believed by the Nicole that the reason behind the increase in women marketing is the stereotype aspect of women towards the buying. Another major factor is that the women do more shopping as compare to the men as it is said that “Men buy, Women Shop”.

What do the statistics tell us about buying power and importance of women?

According to the research made by the Harvard Business Review, the statistics are arranged in which12000 women form 40 geographical places were asked questions and on the base of those questions, the statistics were revealed that women make decisions of 94% of home furnishings, 91% of homes, 92% of vacations and 60% of automobile purchasing decision(Silverstein & Sayre, 2009). In another research (Koozai, 2013) It is mentioned that “women account for 85% of all consumer purchasing.”(Koozai, 2013)
